MOTORSPORTS SAFETY LEADER BSCI TO SHOWCASE FOAM SEAT POURS AT PRI

Guests Attending Demonstrations Eligible to Win BSCI Product

MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- BSCI Energy Impact Systems has been at the forefront of motorsports safety since they developed energy management foam that revolutionized roll bar padding. Since then BSCI has been the most trusted safety foam provider of motorsports organizations worldwide. BSCI will showcase their growing list of capabilities at the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in Indianapolis, highlighted by urethane foam seat pour demonstrations daily at booth #3421. Guests who visit the booth during the demonstration can register to win one of BSCI’s safety products.

“There is a critical need for a seat to be molded to fit each individual driver,” explained Matt Ray, BSCI vice president. “Pouring a seat allows the foam to fill the voids that a standard seat would leave around the driver. Individualization of these products is exponentially safer than standardized options. BSCI is working to make greater levels of safety, like poured urethane foam seats, accessible to all racers, not just the elite.”

BSCI’s state-of-the-art foams are designed not only to mitigate the impact energy forces absorbed by the driver, but also to offer superior protection from fire while reducing stress and fatigue and maximizing comfort and performance.

The seat pour is a multi-step process that molds BSCI’s EIS W50 foam to the occupant’s body profile. The SFI 45.2 approved foam materials are stable at extreme temperatures, from -100F to over 400F, without showing shrinkage or deformation. Additionally, the inserts’ resiliency allows for continued use after a crash making them a financially feasible safety option for racers at all levels. The seat pour process demonstrated at PRI can be used in all types of cars, motorcycles, marine products or any other custom molded foam application.

In addition to the seat pour demonstrations, BSCI will showcase its line of innovative safety products including seat inserts, headrests, knee knockers, door pads and seat kits. Matt Ray and seat fitting specialist Scott Zurawski will be available to discuss BSCI’s capabilities and answer safety-related questions.

Over 25 years ago, BSCI established a reputation for excellence by pioneering the development of roll bar padding that set new industry standards. The family-owned company’s proven history of protecting the world’s most famous drivers has made BSCI the choice of the motorsports elite. In recent years, that success has propelled them to diversify into advanced safety products used by the automotive, military, aerospace and marine industries.
