BSCI - Energy Impact
Systems
BSCI pioneered the innovation and development of roll bar padding
that set the industry standard. Both the half round shape and SFI
safety standards resulted from lobbying and research and development
initiated by BSCI. Today, we are still the leader in development
of safer foams for use in protecting drivers and occupants from
more serious injuries.
-
Available in colors Black, Red and Blue
- Formulated for maximum impact absorption using our superior
technology
- Will not melt or drip in a fire and the padding is self-extinguishing
- Molded in acrylic adhesive for easy installation
- Easy to cut to shape for custom installation
Special Announcement
BSCI has a long and very successful history of protecting some of
the worlds most famous drivers with molded seating. Using our EIS
W50 SFI 45.2 approved foam, motorsports organizations have put their
trust in BSCI to protect their drivers for nearly 15 years. EIS W50
is recommended by many of the worlds foremost experts in crash safety.
Using
laser scanning and precise CNC machining, BSCI can now replicate
any existing seat insert and headrest by machining EIS W50 foam billets.
This produces a product that is precisely uniform in density which
increases the comfort level and safety of the seating system. Whether
a seat insert is already available or if a BSCI technician needs
to produce an insert, we can duplicate the insert by scanning and
machining the part to give an exact replication of your favorite
piece. This eliminates the need for driver and crew participation
which uses valuable time. When a new insert is needed, simply call
BSCI and we can produce it for you.
Most importantly, you now have an insert produced from the most
track proven impact management foam in motorsports. EIS W50 foam
is inherently self extinguishing in the event of a fire and it will
not melt or drip when exposed to a flame. In comparison to other
materials used for seat inserts, such as bead seats, which melt and
deform when exposed to temperatures around 250 F, EIS W50 is stable
from temperatures lower than -100 F to over 400 F without showing
shrinkage or deformation. Inserts produced are extremely resilient
and replacement is not needed after each
crash.
EIS W50 is also available in kits if you would like
to produce your own Pour-in-Place seat. Click
